Similar to the pop artists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein I am borrowing from popular culture, obverting what is borrowed thus making it my own, and representing the work in a new context.

 

My art work is an extension and reflection of me. My work can appeal to a wide variety of individuals; on the surface one can enjoy either the quality or the satiric, sometimes “raunchy” humor in the work, while the deeper context of the work canalso be enjoyed. As I grow as a person and an artist, so does my work. Future works will continue to push and challenge our preconceptions in more different ways.
